Yankees Manager Decisions

 Yankee management decisions have been horrendous lately.  Constantly putting infielders in the outfield have cost this team wins.  As well as infielders that can’t handle their own positions.  No excuses with the roster or injuries.  Players that obviously can’t hit shouldn’t be on the active roster.  What are the general manager and manager thinking?

Baseball extra inning rules

We’re going to make an attempt to try to change baseballs extra inning rules from Manfred man on second base to start the top of the 10th inning.    I don’t like it I prefer this idea:    I want to have three infielders and two outfielders as they do in hockey where they play with less players on the ice they go from five men to three men for a five minute overtime. This is exciting.    It’s a lot open ice guys get    exhausted, it’s pretty cool to watch and if you don’t score, then you get your normal shoot out after that.    Baseball I think by doing this with only two outfielders three infielders take some guys out of the lineup so the guys that start their play in the field will be the only players to get to hit so if you only have five guys in the field and the catcher and your DH so you’re going to be -1 infielder and -1 OF two guys are gonna come out of the line up.    My idea for extra innings after the 9th 2 outfielder...

 Yankee Baseball: For the third series in a row the NY Yankees failed to sweep there foe and where blown out each time by  Houston, Tampa, Baltimore.  Trends seem to show again the swing rate with two strikes still attempting to lift instead of go with what the pitcher gives you.  Cut down the swing and go the other way.  With the violent swings Hicks, Voit have its a wonder there not hurt more often.  Not to always bring up the past however it can be down and not strike out as much, hit to the opposite field still get the job done.  Put the ball in play, I did see as well men on base taking a call third strike is not acceptable.  These are simple things to correct if the player wants to and buys in.  On the pitching side the work load of a starter needs to increase let these men pitch into or through 7 or 100 pitches whichever comes first.  We know its a long season however sometimes you do get the best out of them.  The defense ha...

Rebuild Joey13 into Roger9

 Hello humans today my thoughts are with Joey Gallo and  rebuilding his swing and approach at the plate.  We’re not talking about eating Italian food.  How about going into the archives, getting video on Roger Maris.  I know you can’t change a major league hitter as all the media on TV and all that coaches tell us.  I say why not,  you have nothing to lose he’s not doing the job take a chance.  Maris had a fine time patrolling RF in the 60’s and mashing homers. Yes it was long ago however just do it.  He is a free agent after this year it makes total sense for both Joey and the Yankees.  Forget the analytics throw it out the window in this case.
